We planned to resurface the tennis courts next year, but they really need to be done this year because of the cracks. As you probably know, there is an underground spring under the tennis courts, and they were not properly installed in the beginning, which is why we have so much cracking. However, to dig them up and start over, we are looking at around $50,000, which is never going to be feasible. We will spend around $6000 to resurface them. We had not budgeted for this expense in this year’s budget, so we need to have approval to spend the money in April. We are on track to end the fiscal year with around $8000 over what we budgeted, so we have the money to spend on the tennis courts.
